Playing Games & Pretty Things

The look people give me when I say I’m studying at N.M.I.T. is the most beautiful combination of pity, mocking and loss of respect since I did that thing at the what with the “… … Yeah,” so what I’m going to try and explain why im doing what I’m doing.

Last year I indulged myself in playing games with things, and paid little or no attention to what was going on around me, mostly education. The result was that I succeded in destroying my chances of university in ‘09 for the pleasure of breaking things that look pretty.

Lesson One: Break other peoples pretty things.

In the last six months I’ve been paying attention, doing my own footwork, getting back to basics, and that’s taught me to be aware again. And when Sydney and I had creative differences, I realized that where I want to be is the capital, and I want a degree.

So while I wait for the new year, i’m going to learn some things at N.M.I.T. about “business admin” and breaking pretty things that belong to other people, as less of a career move and more of a means to an end.
